Terms of Service

1. Service description

BounceBlock provides email verification, phone validation, duplicate removal and deliverability scoring for contact lists uploaded as CSV files, plus a real-time verification API on the Business plan. It is a digital software-as-a-service product — there are no physical goods. Access is delivered instantly online once you sign up (Free) or your payment succeeds (paid plans).

2. Your obligations

• You own, or have permission to verify, the data you upload.
• You will not use the service for illegal purposes or to send unsolicited bulk email in violation of applicable law.
• You will not upload lists obtained through unauthorized means.
• You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws (including anti-spam and data-protection laws).

3. Acceptable use

Your use of BounceBlock is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things, unlawful spam, harassment, surveillance or tracking of individuals, and abuse of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.

4. Data ownership

You retain ownership of your data. We process it only to provide the service, never sell or share it with third parties beyond our sub-processors, and store raw uploads only temporarily (deleted within 24 hours). See the Privacy Policy and DPA.

5. Payment, billing & renewal

• Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars via Stripe, and auto-renew until cancelled.
• Each plan includes a monthly verification allowance that resets each billing period and does not roll over.
• Failed payments may result in suspension after 7 days.
• You may cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing (Stripe customer portal); access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds, cancellation and our 14-day money-back guarantee are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Usage limits & fair use

• Your plan's monthly allowance is the maximum number of verifications included; exceeding it prompts an upgrade or blocks further processing until the next period.
• Allowances protect the shared service and our verification providers; we may throttle, limit or suspend usage that is excessive, automated beyond your plan, or intended to resell raw API capacity.
• Verification results are informational signals: accuracy is high but not guaranteed to be 100%, and results do not constitute advice.

7. Service levels

We target 99.9% uptime and give advance notice of scheduled maintenance where practical.

8. Suspension & termination

You may cancel any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, abuse, or violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy — immediately in cases of abuse or legal risk. On termination, data is retained for 30 days and then deleted.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: hello@bounceblock.io · billing@bounceblock.io.
